Federation of Saudi Chambers

The Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry was established, according to a royal decree in 1980 AD, and its headquarters are in the city of Riyadh. The private sector in the national economy.
The Federation’s vision is to contribute to the development of the national economy in cooperation and coordination with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the business sector, and all relevant authorities within the framework of the Kingdom’s general directions.
As for the message of the federation, it is based on the fact that, with close cooperation, the Council of Saudi Chambers is to protect and develop the business sector in the Kingdom, and the Council considers itself a proactive development partner, preserving its human and financial resources in light of Islamic values.
The strategic objectives of the federation are to take care of the common interests of the chambers, develop their capabilities, activate their role, and unify their orientations towards national issues. Enhancing the business sector’s contribution to national economic and social development programs. Supporting the official authorities in formulating rules, regulations, and policies related to the business sector. Monitoring and following up all internal and external economic changes. Highlighting promising investment opportunities and available investment vessels, and contributing to the development of the investment environment. Focusing on developing promising sectors in the Saudi economy. Work to remove obstacles facing the business sector. Providing information and studies related to the business sector. Enhancing and developing the role of national family businesses in achieving economic and social development in the Kingdom, representing the business sector at all national, regional, and international levels. Developing foreign economic relations and strengthening trade and investment partnership with brotherly and friendly countries.
The Board of Directors consists of the president of each chamber, in addition to one elected member from among the members of the board of directors of each chamber, a representative of the chamber at the Federation of Saudi Chambers.
There is the Executive Committee of the Federation, which consists of eleven elected members from among the heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Kingdom. There are also business councils in the Council of Saudi Chambers, which is an economic gathering that includes a representative group from the business sector in the Kingdom, aiming to activate economic relations between the kingdom and friendly countries in various commercial and investment fields.
As for the national committees in the Council of Saudi Chambers, they work to develop and develop the sector they represent, by proposing appropriate means in a way that achieves the interest of the sector and is consistent with the public interest at the same time. The number of national committees in the Council of Saudi Chambers is 37 national committees.
